My photographs are visual narratives rather than isolated images. I often accompany them with short texts or poems, weaving together themes inspired by my trans identity and my sensual connection to nature, seen through an eco-sensitive lens. Writing is always an integral part of my creative process.
In 2021 I published my autofictional novella Fluchttiere (Flight Animals), giving form to my inner landscapes and confronting childhood trauma as part of the path toward healing.
My transition—and the physical, emotional, and social changes shaped by hormones—has been a central influence on my life and work. These experiences continue to inform and inspire my photography.
In an ongoing series of self-portraits, I explore the dual roles of subject and object. This duality reflects my journey with queer and transgender identity, examining the complexities of change, self-determination, and societal expectations through both visual and written narratives.
